Services — Perinatal & Postpartum Therapy

Perinatal & Postpartum Therapy

Becoming a parent can be one of the most isolating times in your life — and the time you most need someone to talk to. You don't have to navigate it alone.

Becoming a parent affects everyone differently, and how you feel can change from day to day. For some parents — yes, fathers too — this shows up as postpartum depression or postpartum anxiety. It can feel confusing, lonely, and hard to admit out loud.

While doctors can help with medication, they're often limited in the emotional support they can offer during this time. This is a safe place to share your concerns and fears, with no judgment and no shame.

This might be for you if…

  • You feel persistently sad, anxious, numb, or overwhelmed since becoming a parent
  • You're struggling to bond, or feel guilt and shame about how you feel
  • Intrusive worries or racing thoughts won't quiet down
  • You feel isolated, unseen, or like you've lost yourself
  • You're a partner navigating this transition and want support too

How we work together

We'll work with you to provide emotional support as we figure out, together, what you need — from yourself and from your support system — to navigate this new stage of life. There's no "right" way to feel, and no feeling that's too small or too big to bring here.

Our care is warm, trauma-informed, and paced entirely around you. We honor the enormous shift you're moving through, and help you find steadier ground.

If you're in crisis or thinking of harming yourself or your baby, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. You deserve immediate support, and help is available.

Common questions

Is what I'm feeling normal?

Perinatal and postpartum mood changes are far more common than most people realize, and they are not a reflection of your worth as a parent. Reaching out is a sign of strength — and these feelings are very treatable with support.

Can my partner be involved?

Absolutely. Partners are affected too and are welcome to take part. We can also support partners individually.

What does it cost?

Individual sessions are $175. We're also in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealthcare, and CCHA Medicaid. See Rates & Insurance.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private and held over a HIPAA-secure video platform, with the limited legal exceptions every licensed therapist must follow.

You don't have to hold this alone.

Reaching out is the first, bravest step. We'll meet you with warmth and zero judgment.
