Our Team — Jessica Richards

Jessica Richards, MS, LPC

Helping adults heal the children they once were — so they can live their best lives now.

For 19 years I've worked with children, parents, couples, and adults across educational and therapeutic settings. That depth in developmental psychology gives me a unique lens: I help clients connect today's challenges to the childhood experiences and unconscious beliefs beneath them. I believe identifying those repeating patterns — the ones that originate in childhood — can heal clients in a profound way.

I'm especially passionate about helping adults work through their own attachment wounds and any trauma experienced as children. I like to think of it as helping my clients heal the children they once were, so they can live more fully now.

As a neurodivergent clinician myself — with a house full of similarly-brained people — I'm deeply invested in neurodivergent-affirming care. I'm particularly aware of how neurodivergence can shape couples and families, and how challenges can arise from misunderstandings about individual needs. Therapy can look different for different people, and I'll always meet you where you are.

Areas I focus on

Childhood trauma & attachment wounds Neurodivergent individuals Neurodivergence in couples & families Anxiety & depression Parenting & family dynamics Life transitions Adults & older adults
